Our International Express service uses an index-based surcharge that is adjusted monthly. This surcharge is based on the U.S. Gulf Coast Jet Fuel Prices reported by the U.S. Department of Energy for the month, two months prior to the adjustment.

Changes to this levy will be effective the first Monday of each month and posted here approximately two weeks prior to the effective date. For your billing convenience, we will also post a surcharge history.

The levy is calculated for each individual shipment as an addition to your agreed rate for that weight and destination.

 

This levy became effective on the 19th of July 2004.

Our Domestic fuel levy is based on the Fuel levy charge of Singapore aviation fuel market prices.

Changes to this surcharge will be effective the first Monday of each month and posted here approximately two weeks prior to the effective date. For your billing convenience, we will also post a surcharge history.

This levy is calculated for each individual shipment as an addition to your agreed rate for that weight and destination. Existing domestic rates remain unchanged, and all levies and surcharges are added before GST.

 

For example to calculate the price of domestic air freight services:

Using a rate for a Sydney overnight service of, say $16.00 Basic plus $5.60/Kg + GST, the calculation for a 5Kg shipment would be:
 

$5.60  x  5Kgs  =  $28.00  +  $16.00 (Basic)  =  $44.00

$44.00  +  $4.40 (10% Fuel Levy)  = $48.40

$48.40  +  $4.84 (10% GST)  =  $53.24

 

This levy became effective on the 5th of July 2004.
